To make a donation, enter the required details into the form to the right including the amount you wish to donate in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Once the required details have been entered, press 'Submit' to begin the transaction process. The transaction will be processed by Westpac Bank in a secure web site independent of this one. Once there, transaction details will be verified before being processed. Upon acceptance you will be issued with a receipt, a copy of which will be emailed to your nominated email address. An email will also be sent to us containing details of the transaction, most important of which will be your name and the amount you have generously donated!

Where your money goes
100% of your money will be used by the Mitchell River Watershed Management Group on environmental projects that help the Mitchell catchment - including:

• Liaison with all community groups to find out what their concerns are;
• Monitoring the condition of land and waterways and promoting rehabilitation;
• Education initiatives at schools and with community groups;
• advocacy for open and appropriate land management and planning;
• recognition and respect of cultural heritage;
• encouragement of sustainable use of resources within their capability;
• identification of impacts of resource use;
• promotion of restoration of degraded areas;
• advocacy of self maintaining populations of native species;
• consideration of socio-economic factors that apply within the Mitchell River catchment;
• Eradication of plant and animal pests;
• Sponsoring research to build better knowledge of and manage the natural resources in the watershed;
• Working with industry to ensure better management of the region;
• Being the environmental voice of the watershed in the public domain; and
  
• Land and waterway rehabilitation and other projects.
